1/2: Cartooning + Doodling

2: Still Life Drawing 

7pm - 8.30pm UTC / Portugal time , Tuesdays 

Draw what: Still life: bring in objects** and / or find some around CHOCAArts Apartment

** object suggestions: something that fits in your hand, group of similar objects: eg fruit / veg., drawing objects, kitchen items, clothes etc etc 

Objective: Develop your own styles using various mediums + exploring various techniques 

+ chats about getting down to work + about selling your drawings in expos / in street markets / online

Mediums / materials: felt tip + nib pens, pastels, charcoal, crayons, colouring + graphite pencils, watercolour paints ... 

Techniques: Shading, proportions, 

Price: Donations, 0€ - 3€ ( discount / free when needed )

Min. 4 / max. 10 participants. 

Level: open to all levels

About the coordinator: Self taught: have done online courses, youtubes, boooks etc. I see my coordinator role / teaching comes out of listening to each others' styles and techniques. I beleive there's no right or wrong but rather wot works for your own particular art.   

As atividades do CHOCAArts são coordenadas por entusiastas da arte. Alguns frequentaram escolas de arte e são qualificados, outros são autodidatas através de livros, cursos online e "tentativa e erro". As/os participantes são encorajadas/os a partilhar conhecimento e experiência com uma atitude de que não há certo ou errado, mas o que simplesmente funciona para cada um de nós         CHOCAArts activities are coordinated by art enthusiasts. Some have been to art school and are qualified, some are self taught via books , online courses and 'trial and error'. Participants are encouraged to pool knowledge and experience with an attitude there is no right or wrong but what simply works for each of us

About Online Cartooning + Doodling Workshops:

SKETCHING BOOK WORKSHOP: in person or join online !!

Where: a: In CHOCA Arts Apartment / b: Online zoom chat

Draw what: Still life, Views, from your imagination, from photos etc

Materials: felt tip + nib pens, pastels, charcoal, crayons, colouring + graphite pencils, watercolour paints ... bring a sketchbook... if not sure which start off with A4 photocopy paper :) !!

About the course: Help each to develop our own styles. The course will be tailored around the wants and needs of the participants. Main objective = have fun / get satisfaction from drawing / doodling. Each session will contain short activities which can then be elaborated at home. Exchange ideas, give inspiration, get some basic drawing techniques both on the course and suggesting various self-help drawing you tubes.  There'll also be chats about getting down to work and selling our drawings. 

Length: 90 mins

Price: Donations, 0€ - 3€ ( discount / free when needed )

Min. 4 / max. 10 participants. 

Level: Ideally a mixture from complete beginners to artists already selling online, in the street, in expos etc
